As a Medical Record Analyst at MRC, you’ll play a vital role in supporting justice for injured clients by reviewing, organising, and analysing complex sets of medical records.

Got What it Takes?

Key Responsibilities:

In this hybrid role that combines both collation and analysis, you will:

  • Review and collate large sets of medical records—both paper-based and digital

  • Identify and request missing records to ensure case completeness

  • Sort and structure records by provider, date, and document type

  • Paginate records to court-ready standards

  • Produce searchable, navigable PDF bundles with indexes and bookmarks

  • Create clear, chronological timelines of medical events

  • Draft clinical memorandums highlighting key case issues (delay, causation, breach, etc.)

  • Work closely with solicitors and legal teams to ensure bundles meet case requirements

  • Maintain strict compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and GDPR standards

 

Key Skills & Experience:

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Organised, logical, and analytical

  • Comfortable working with large volumes of detailed information

  • Meticulous, with a strong attention to detail

  • Clinically experienced (nursing, allied health, or healthcare background preferred)

  • IT confident and quick to learn new systems

  • A strong written communicator, able to write clearly and concisely

  • Able to work independently and manage workload to meet deadlines

  • Knowledgeable or willing to learn about medico-legal processes
